1000 Consumers’ Interest in Health Technology and Care at Home
Best Buy Health commissioned Sage Growth Partners to conduct a double-blind survey of 1,000 U.S. consumers to gauge their interests
in and preferences for engaging with health technology as part of receiving healthcare services, aging in place, or acting as a caregiver to a loved one. The survey was conducted online in April 2024.
Consumers indicate a strong preference for aging in place and are generally interested in engaging with health technology to support that goal. However, awareness remains low for the types of care-at-home programs that health systems and health plans have made available in recent years, pointing to the need for more consumer education and awareness initiatives to support the widespread adoption of care at home.
